To feed those with love and compassion.

For over 40 years, we have nourished our neighbors with groceries, hot meals, and the compassion Velina Ann Marshall poured into every dish — because no one should go hungry.

Our Mission

A neighbor-led answer to local hunger.

For over 40 years, Velina Ann Marshall — known to many as Vilma — turned her faith into action, beginning in her church with 30 women and a hundred meals. She believed that no one should go hungry, and she poured her heart into every dish, every conversation, and every life she touched. What started as a small act of love grew into a powerful outreach serving thousands of families each year.

Today, under the leadership of her daughter Charise Vidot, that same spirit lives on. We continue to feed our neighbors with compassion, dignity, and the unwavering belief that love is best expressed through service.

What we do

Our Programs

All programs

Community Meals

We proudly serve hot meals to members of our community, providing nourishment, compassion, and hope to those in need. We believe that a warm meal can make a meaningful difference and bring people together with dignity and care.

Community Impact

Through our ongoing Community Impact Outreaches, we come directly into communities to serve those in need by providing hot meals, clothing, essential resources, and support. Our mission is to meet people where they are, extending compassion, hope, and practical assistance to individuals and families in need.

Mobile Outreach

We offer mobile outreach, when available, to seniors and homebound residents in our surrounding communities, bringing resources and support directly to those in need.

Voices from our community

When my family was struggling, VAM Outreach showed up with groceries — and with kindness. They reminded us we weren't alone.
